Bayern Munich have made ‘fresh contact’ this week about signing Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah.
That is according to a report from TEAMtalk.
Trevoh Chalobah, 24, is a popular name in the transfer mill now that the January window is open.
Journalist Rudy Galetti recently reported via X that Chalobah has beenn offered to Italian club Roma this month.
However, there’s now fresh claims regarding interest from German powerhouses Bayern.

TEAMtalk claims that Bundesliga champions Bayern are still keen on bringing Chalobah to Munich in this January window.
It is explained that Thomas Tuchel’s side have retained interest in the 24-year-old Chelsea star after attempting to sign him in the summer.
The report states that the central defender is ‘keen’ to talk about a possible move to Germany
In addition, Bayern have now opened new conversations this week with the player’s agents.
TEAMtalk adds that Chelsea would rather sell Chalobah than loan him out, with a £25million fee likely to be enough to secure a transfer.
Apparently, Bayern do face rival interest in the Blues centre-back from the likes of Roma, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Tottenham.
Bayern Munich contact Trevoh Chalobah
We’re wondering if we’ve seen Chalobah play in Chelsea colours for the very last time.
The versatile defender’s not made a single appearance during this 2023/24 season due to an ongoing injury problem, but we’ve seen in the past he’s got real first-team quality at Stamford Bridge. He’s had some big performances during his 63 senior games for the club.
Described as “fantastic” by Frank Lampard last year (Football.London), Chalobah is yet another big talent developed in the Blues academy at Cobham.
His sale would be pure profit on the balance sheet for the owners, but we do fear he could kick on and grow into a real top defender in an environment such as Bayern.
If we were in Bayern’s shoes, we’d look at a £25m deal for Chalobah as a potential steal this month.
