Chelsea players seem to have an opinion on the club potentially selling Conor Gallagher this month.
Conor Gallagher appears to be available in this transfer window, with the Daily Mail reporting that the Blues are willing to let him go before the end of January.
And now talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook, speaking to GiveMeSport, has shared how the Chelsea dressing room feels about the midfielder’s possible exit.
Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that he has spoken to Gallagher about his current situation at Stamford Bridge.
The Argentine will be reluctant to lose Gallagher after handing him 19 starts in the Premier League this season.
Chelsea players not happy with club’s position on Conor Gallagher
According to Crooks, the Chelsea dressing room is not on board with the idea of selling Gallagher. However, the journalist has also claimed that the club may have no choice but to sell the 23-year-old for £45m or £50m this month.
On Gallagher, he said: “I think they’re going to have to seriously consider the bid if someone does offer them £45million or £50million for him, just to help with Financial Fair Play.
“But that would be a really bad move in the eyes of the fans and in the dressing room as well. From what I’m told, a lot of the players are up in arms at the prospect of Gallagher even being available.”

It is understandable that Gallagher’s team-mates do not want him to go. He has done such an important job in the middle of the park this season.
As per WhoScored, the Englishman is currently making 2.7 tackles per game, more than any other midfielder in Pochettino’s squad.
Ultimately, Gallagher is a player who works hard, often doing the dirty work for Chelsea in the middle.
He is definitely not the first name the Blues should be selling this window, yet it appears the England international could be one individual who departs west London before the end of January.
