The Miami Dolphins will be heading to the Arrowhead Stadium to play against the Kansas City Chiefs. This is the price they paid after they lost to the Buffalo Bills in a game that they almost had control of. Now, Pat McAfee thinks that the Dolphins are going to have to fight an uphill battle, as Travis Kelce and the Chiefs will handle their playoff business with much more dominance than the regular season.
A fan tweet is floating around the internet reflecting Pat McAfee’s confidence in the Chiefs, along with the praises he has for the defending champions of the Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Andy Reid will lead the offense in an attempt to win the next wild-card game and McAfee couldn’t be more excited about it.
Pat McAfee banks on the Kansas City Chiefs!
The fan tweet on X was captioned, “Pat McAfee says the Dolphins are “heading in the wrong direction.” 👀”. The post highlighted the former NFL punter speculating that the Kansas City Chiefs might clinch another season due to their experience and confidence. Despite the Chiefs having occasional bad performances, McAfee thinks that the Chiefs will “figure it out” as he praised Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Andy Reid by saying, “It’s Patrick Mahomes, it’s Andy Reid, Travis Kelce is awesome”

The men in red have clinched the AFC West with an 11-6 record this season. The Chiefs’ offense has been sloppy for quite some time, and they barely managed to win against the Chargers with a single-point lead. The only noticeable touchdown came from Mike Edwards’ 97-yard opposite fumble return. The rest of the points came from Harrison Butker.
Mind begs the question that the Chiefs, despite being regarded as one of the best offenses, managed to score just a single touchdown and a close win. At this pace, they might not be the ones going far in the season. However, the game against the LA Chargers gave them a home advantage as the Dolphins will visit Kansas City on Sunday.

Keeping the momentum in their favor, Tua Tagovailoa needs to do everything he can so that the Dolphins don’t appear like a one-and-done side. Also, the Fins lost 21-14 to the Chiefs the last time they were in Germany. Hence, previous record and some problems with Miami’s roster might make it difficult for them to win.
The battered Miami Dolphins
Just when the next game meant everything for the Miami Dolphins, they piled up an extensive injury list. Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Waddle didn’t play in the game against the Buffalo Bills due to their ankle injuries. They are still listed as questionable on the Dolphins week 18 injury reports. Whether they will be ready in time to play against the Chiefs cannot be said right now.

Also, Tyreek Hill’s ankle hasn’t been in great condition. Yet, despite that, he is doing everything he can to elevate the Dolphins’ offense. Matters however aren’t looking favorable for the team. In the second half of the game against the Buffalo Bills, their QB1 threw 2 interceptions that ended up costing them the game. A bad QB performance paired with a banged-up offense isn’t a real recipe for success.
Hopefully, the Dolphins overcome these shortcomings and be ready to play against the Chiefs, displaying a competitive clash to the spectators.
