Appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Anne Hathaway shared about her new movie Serenity, a drama project in which she stars with Matthew McConaughey. During the conversation, the Oscar-winning actress mentioned drinking alcohol. She revealed that she was cumming on this drink.

Anne Hathaway said she doesn’t like the feeling of being tired from alcohol when she wakes up in the morning.

“We drank all night and the next day I had a conversation with director Steven Knight. I walked into the room with eyes that were not alert and in the end, I had to admit that I was really not feeling well”, Anne Hathaway recounted the situation that made her decide not to drink alcohol.

Besides, one reason she made this decision was because of her son: “I stopped drinking alcohol starting in October 2018. When he’s at home, I don’t drink because I don’t like it. He needs me in the morning, I have to work all day. I remember one time I had to take my child to school but I didn’t drive because I still had a hangover, I didn’t like that situation.

Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam welcomed their son in 2016. The couple avoids sharing their personal lives in public and is quite private. It wasn’t until her son was nearly 1 year old that the actress shared his first photo with the public.
