Reports have claimed that one top striker is now prepared to join Chelsea this month.
According to the Mail Online, sources close to Victor Osimhen has decided he is open to joining the club if a deal can be agreed between the two parties.
It has been clear to everyone that Osimhen has been the number one target for the Blues to come in as a new striker to solve their issues up front.

However, any approach for him this month seemed to take a hit as he signed a new contract which involved a release clause almost certainly set to be activated later this year.
Chelsea will be safe in the knowledge though that they face a tough task to secure his services at the end of the season, with a number of elite sides likely to be in for him.
Despite this, they have now reportedly been handed a massive boost in the fact that he would actually be open to joining the club this month.
Osimhen open to Chelsea
Osimhen has come in to a lot of praise since he become a top player in Serie A, where he was named the top scorer last season.
He has been described as ‘world-class’ after taking the step up from Lille, and is no doubt going to cost near enough a club-record fee if the Blues look to bring him in.
He is not the only striker Chelsea have been linked to, with them also looking closer to home to try and find their solution.
They have been constantly linked with the signing of Ivan Toney from Brentford with him about to return to action following his ban, and today they have also been reported to be interested in a deal to sign Evan Ferguson from Brighton, however that deal is unlikely to take place as of now.
