Reports have now claimed that Ivan Toney is not the only Premier League striker Chelsea are considering signing right now.
According to The Evening Standard, the Blues are long-term admirers of Evan Ferguson, who is currently playing for Brighton.
Chelsea supporters will need no introduction to negotiating terms with the Seagulls after signing a plethora of players and coaches from them across the last 18 months.

The biggest example of that was the saga to bring Moises Caicedo to the club, despite the players wishes to move to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues ended up smashing their transfer record to bring him in to partner their former record addition Enzo Fernandez in the middle of the park.
Now though, reports have stated that they are keen on going for another big-name signing from Brighton in the coming days and weeks.
It has been claimed that the Blues are long-term admirers of the striker, however the large amount of business Chelsea have done with the Seagulls puts them off considering a bid from them at this stage.
Ferguson is on six goals in 18 Premier League games this season, and has already picked up plenty of praise from pundits in the game.
Alan Shearer described him as ‘very special’ and if the aforementioned report is to be believed, he is a player who would not ask for an amount of money close to what someone like Ferguson would.
The Irishman is not the only Premier League striker who the club have been linked with signing. They have been linked long-term with Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
However, their interest in him this month is likely not to result in anything too great, after an interview he recently gave where he felt it was right to pay back Brentford for the support they have given him during his ban from football.
