Chelsea prospect Josh-Kofi Acheampong is a very popular topic for discussion right now.
That is according to speculation this week.
Josh-Kofi Acheampong, who’s only aged 17, is someone that has progressed through the Blues academy since joining the club’s Under-8s age group.
The teenage defender celebrated signing his first professional contract with Chelsea at the start of January.
Now, there’s talk that the English youngster is already a well-known name in the game.

According to Miguel Delaney’s Newsletter, Chelsea’s Acheampong is a player that ‘most of Europe has been talking about’.
It is understood that the versatile defender signed his contract at Stamford Bridge earlier this month amid ‘huge interest’.
The report added that the 17-year-old’s the type of valuable asset that the Blues could consider selling for financial reasons if they run into any problems.
Acheampong, who is a right-back that can also play centre-back, has clearly done well enough at youth level to get lots of clubs discussing him.
Hopefully, the London-born talent is someone that we’ll eventually get to see as part of Mauricio Pochettino’s senior group. In fairness, Acheampong was actually spotted taking part in Chelsea’s first-team training in December.
