As we approach the halfway point of the January transfer window, perhaps the biggest surprise so far is that the Blues have not yet been active in signing any players.
The majority of stories surrounding Chelsea has been regarding players they actually loaned out earlier this season, with Andrey Santos and David Datro Fofana returning.
However, it will soon be time to address any incomings they want to make in order to try and rescue what has been another dire season so far.

A striker has been constantly mentioned as the dream target for those at Stamford Bridge, however they will be well aware that signing the one they are really looking for is perhaps unlikely to occur this month.
Victor Osimhen has frequently been touted as the dream target, however he won’t be going anywhere this month after it emerged that he had signed a new contract.
Reports around the Premier League recently have claimed that one of their rivals, Newcastle United, could be about to have to sell some key players in order to balance the books.
Chelsea should make Isak their priority
If this is the case, the club should absolutely jump on the chance to bring in Alexander Isak.
The Sweden international has nine goals to his name already this season in the Premier League, which is more than any Chelsea player.
This is despite regularly sharing minutes up front with Callum Wilson, although it would be fair to say he has impressed more since his £63m move to the club.
Chelsea are currently in the midst of trying to find a short-term solution that will get them to the end of the season, after seemingly not being too impressed by what Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja have brought to the table.
However, they have the chance to kill two birds with one stone by securing a deal for Isak this month if the opportunity arises.
