The future of Raphinha is being talked about again as the January trade window gets closer.
This summer, the star player for Barcelona was linked with a move away from Catalonia. These days, Tottenham Hotspur is interested in him because they want to improve their attacking choices.
Ahlul is also interested in Raphinha.
A story from SPORT, on the other hand, says that Saudi Arabia may be able to beat Tottenham to the signing of Raphinha.
That’s because one of the biggest teams in Saudi Arabia, Al Hilal, is looking at Raphinha as a possible move before the January transfer window opens.
Al Hilal is reportedly interested in Raphinha as an alternative for Neymar, who hurt himself badly and won’t be back until next season.
Other names that have been mentioned with a move to Al Hilal are Jadon Sancho and Victor Osimhen. However, Raphinha could be a good choice for the Saudi giants.
The way Barcelona feels about Raphinha
The way things stand, Barcelona doesn’t need to get rid of Raphinha just yet.
This shouldn’t be a surprise since the club doesn’t have many attacking choices now that Ansu Fati, Ousmane Dembele, and Ez Abde have all left in the summer.
The Brazilian international could be sold, though, if Barcelona feels the pinch of the economic downturn.
After all, the club has a huge problem replacing the injured Gavi, which could mean that Barcelona needs to add more midfielders in January.
Raphinha, on the other hand, likes living in Barcelona. But the forward needs to start taking advantage of his chances soon if the Catalans want him to be a long-term asset in attack.
