Nina Scores A Second Chance With Sonny Just In Time To Betray Him Again

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) has just made a deal with the devil — only she doesn’t know it.

She should’ve known better, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) probably should’ve been more concerned about what she offered Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to get him to drop the charges against Sonny.

But the don is too furious with his Mrs. right now to care about what happens to her. Nina is a big girl who’s been making big decisions without him for a while now. Who is he to step on her toes now? It’s not as though he asked her to interfere.

In fact, he told her not to — ever again. But as usual, Nina didn’t get the message, and she’ll make that quite clear when she finally gets another chance to make things up to Sonny and instead botches everything.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos  Becomes A Scapegoat

Throwing Michael under the bus to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was just the beginning of the reckoning Nina has planned to make herself look like the victim once again. Carly might not take that bait, but we can expect that Sonny is going to.

He has been for two years now, after all. Nina is great at holding onto a grudge and she’s not going to let it go that Michael has cost her a relationship with her daughter — or at least, that’s how she will see it.

Nina is never responsible for her own actions. But what’s more notable is that Nina will allegedly find a way to blame her guilt over her dirty little secret on Michael’s blackmail agenda to keep her quiet.

GH Spoilers – Tease Sonny Corinthos  Goes Soft

We’ve said it time and time again — this is not the same Sonny who left home and wound up in Nixon Falls absent of his memory.

Something happened to that guy. He grew soft; his sharp edges were dulled — and that’s not always a good thing. It’s made him a vulnerable target where Nina is concerned.

Her ploys for attention and tall tales of victimhood often strike a chord with him in just the right way to let her weasel her way back in — usually preying on him in a weak moment. We shouldn’t expect this time to be any different.

General Hospital Spoilers — Opportunity Knocks

Fear not, Nina haters. Just as Sonny can’t help but forgive her and let her back into his heart, Nina won’t be able to stop herself from striking back at Michael and ruining everything.

We expect that Sonny will make it a condition of working on their marriage that she accepts his family. That means she has to stop firing at Carly — and Michael. No more wars. No more sabotage.

Can Nina really stick to that promise when opportunity knocks and gives her a shot at making Michael pay for taking Willow and her grandchildren away from her? We think not.

Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out how Nina blows her marriage to Sonny apart all over again as she refuses to give up on the game of revenge.
