It’s been over a month since the artist and her former beau Taylor Kinney, 35, parted ways.

The twosome, who were in a relationship for five years, got engaged in February 2015.

Lady Gaga shared a black and white photo of herself and the Chicago Fire actor with their arms around each other six weeks ago; she wrote: ‘Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break.’

She continued: ‘We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared.’

Adding: ‘Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.’
