Because there’s never enough Beyoncé
When Beyoncé took the stage at the 2017 Grammy Awards—pregnant with twins, no less—she looked like the goddess that she is.
But because Queen B gets us, she knew that only two songs (even the heavy hitters like “Sandcastles” and “Love Drought” that she performed) wouldn’t be enough Bey for the Beyhive. So, soon after Beyoncé stepped down from the stage, she served up a behind-the-scenes look at the makings of her Grammy performance, and it’s almost as magical as the live show itself.
The Lemonade artist gave a peek at what went into her emotional performance on her official website shortly after her Grammys set ended. The collection of photographs includes snaps of an adorable Blue Ivy, a regal-looking Tina Knowles, and a supportive Jay Z on set. Also making an appearance? That semi-dangerous-looking stunt chair (was anyone else freaking out for the twins?!), and Beyoncé’s glowing and growing baby bump. Who else do you know that can rock a gold chain bikini, a cape, and a crown while pregnant with twins? No one, that’s who.

Beyoncé also gave us a look at what went into her intricate costumes.
Of course, as Twitter users have pointed out (including Broadway performer Nia Holloway), these costumes aren’t just merely pretty. Like all the imagery in Lemonade, there’s significant symbolism behind them.
