According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announcement, Blackpink’s 2022 album “Born Pink” has received a silver certification.
According to BPI’s certification threshold, the album is certified silver with 60,000 units sold, while the single is certified silver with 200,000 units sold.
Previously, Blackpink won silver certification with the 2020 album “The Album”, along with the singles “Kiss and Make Up”, “Kill This Love”, “DDu-Du DDu-Du” and “How You Like That ”.
This is considered good news at the beginning of the year for Blackpink fans, even though recently, the group members have spent a lot of time on personal activities.
Most recently (February 8), Lisa announced the establishment of her own company called LLOUD. The female singer shared that this will be the place for her to set her vision on music and entertainment.
Meanwhile, Jennie is preparing for her debut as a fixed member of the variety show “Apartment 404” on February 15.
As for Jisoo – she appears at many famous events, while Rosé is a bit quieter. A few days ago, fans caught her having an emotional moment when she went to listen to Taylor Swift’s concert.
