British world heavyweight champion is ready to finally leave the nest – but it’s good news for mother Yeta Odusanya as he eyes London stay
ANTHONY JOSHUA is preparing to finally leave the nest – after falling in love with an incredible £27million mansion.
The British boxing sensation is looking to invest part of the £15m he earned for beating Wladimir Klitschko.
Anthony Joshua is ready to move out of his home after falling in love with a £27m mansion.
It is believed world heavyweight champion Joshua, 34, who currently lives with his mum Yeta Odusanya in an ex-council flat in London, wants to stay in the capital.
A source told the Mirror: “Anthony has begun looking for a home of his own.
“He’s determined to weigh up all his options rather than make any rash decisions, but the search is on.
“He knows it’s a big decision and he wants to make sure he buys the right place.”
Anthony Joshua rented out a plush £20,000-a-week mansion in St John’s Wood.
The luxurious mansion has a fully-equipped home gym.
The pricey pad is decorated by glittering chandeliers.
The mansion Anthony Joshua rented includes a home cinema.
The £27million house includes it’s own built-in indoor pool.
Joshua has set his sights on earning over £1billion during his career.
After saving plenty of cash staying with his mum in North West London, he splashed out some of his fortune renting the £20,000-a-month mansion in St John’s Wood – just next to Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The plush pad is said to currently belong to South African diamond trader Walter Hennig, 44, who paid £27m for it in 2012.
Anthony Joshua bought his mum’s council flat in 2013 for £185,000.
It is good new for mum Yeta Odusanya as Anthony Joshua is eyeing a new place in nearby London.
Walter is the son of businessman Oloff Hennig, who boasted of knowing Ronnie Biggs, the man who conducted the Great Train Robbery in 1963.
AJ has been given a taste of the high life in the house, which is truly fit for a (heavyweight) king.
Glittering chandeliers and beautiful paintings decorate the new-look pad.
It includes a fully-equipped gym in which the 6ft 6in WBA, IBF and IBO champ would have used to stay in tip-top shape.
The luxury spot even has a spa including a salt grotto, as well as an indoor pool, wine cellar, cinema and two staff bedrooms.
The master suite occupies the entire first floor.
