After posting a picture of himself and his son Ronaldo Jr. after a workout on social media, Cristiano Ronaldo was seen with blue nail polish on.
With a 3-0 win over Al-Fayha on Wednesday night, Ronaldo scored his 27th goal of the season to help Al-Nassr move on to the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions League.
Although some of his teammates may have rested after the win, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star has chosen to do the exact opposite.
Thursday morning, Ronaldo posted a picture of himself and Ronaldo Jr. working out without any clothes on.
Couple posed with big smiles on their faces while standing in what looked like a home gym. They were both wearing shorts.
Some fans, though, quickly pointed out that Ronaldo’s feet looked like they had blue nail polish on them while he posed for the shot.
Ronaldo wrote, “Today with my partner” under the picture.
Last month, Ronaldo Jr.’s carefree behaviour during an Al-Nassr youth match led to similarities with his father.
While playing for the Saudi Arabian team, a player from the Al-Shabab team tried to talk to the young football player, but he didn’t seem interested.
There is a video of Ronaldo Jr. putting his finger to his mouth and looking at the kid from the corner of his eye.
He recognizes his opponent by quickly putting his arm around his neck and shrugging him off. He barely looks at him the whole time because he wants to focus on the game instead of talking to people.
In Al-Nassr’s match, Ronaldo scored the only goal in the first leg. He then scored again in Riyadh on Wednesday night with four minutes left in the second game.
Ronaldo scored the winning goal when Vladimir Stojkovic failed to clear a long ball for Marcelo Brozovic. The 39-year-old had an easy finish after Stojkovic made the mistake.
Otavio headed a cross from Abdullah Al Khaibari through Stojkovic’s legs to give Al-Nassr the lead 17 minutes into the game. Stojkovic was also to blame for the goal.
Ronaldo almost added a second goal when his header in the 37th minute hit the post, but his team’s win was already secure.
Ronaldo’s fifth goal in six AFC Champions League games this season and his second in 28 games this season across all categories.
Still trying to win their first regional title, Al-Nassr will play Al-Ain from the United Arab Emirates in the quarterfinals next month. Hernan Crespo’s team beat Nasaf from Uzbekistan with a goal in extra time.
