Rihanna Enlists A$AP Rocky to Star in an Old Hollywood Noir Film for Fenty Beauty

Rihanna had a little help from A$AP Rocky to promote her latest Fenty Beauty lip product.

The couple starred in an Old Hollywood noir-styled short film titled Born to Steal: Yours, Mine, Ours, released on Fenty Beauty’s YouTube. The sultry black-and-white flick features Rihanna as a “blazer bandit” who steals and hoards items from her boyfriend.

“She was a classy dame, but she had odd ways of showing her affection,” a narrator says at the start of the nearly two minute-long video. “Although the female’s choices are endless, she borrows from the male for her camouflage. … The more savage of the species, the females are known to hoard from the unsuspecting males.”

Despite Rihanna’s penchant for stealing Rocky’s blazers, blankets, or plate of pancakes, the narrator confirms that the one thing he refuses to relinquish is his Fenty Lux Balm, a hydrating lip product with a Barbados cherry-inspired flavor.

Earlier this week, Rihanna teased the short film on Instagram with an adorable reel of behind-the-scenes footage that captured her and Rocky on set. The reel includes PDA-filled clips of the two embracing, slow dancing together, holding hands, and—of course—showing off the lip balm product.

The couple, who were longtime friends, went official with their romance in the summer of 2020. They have since welcomed two children together: one-year-old son RZA and six-month-old baby boy Riot.

“Rihanna and A$AP are doing so well,” a source previously told Entertainment Tonight of their relationship. “They both love being parents and balance each other out. A$AP is very outgoing and playful, and Rihanna is chill and fun.”

The Albanese government’s radical plan to double taxes on Australians with more than $3million in superannuation looks dead in the water because it doesn’t have the votes to pass the Senate.
