Trout National Golf Course, a course many have been waiting on as Major League Baseball star Mike Trout and Tiger Woods work together, is expected to be approved this week.
Trout announced the plans in 2023, and according to Golfweek, the planning board is holding a special meeting for a final review and vote on Thursday.
The course is in Vineland, New Jersey, close to where the baseball superstar grew up.

Woods partnered with Trout in the development and helped him design the course. Trout shared the course on his social media last year, showing how beautiful it’s expected to be.
Golfweek says that the course will include a 35,000-square-foot clubhouse, pro shop, private lodges, comfort station, pump houses, practice ranges, and more.
Trout, arguably the best baseball player the game has ever seen, has a passion for golf, too.
In an interview with Golfweek, Trout said that he started golfing because of Woods.
He has been playing since he was 16 years old and said that playing for most of his life has allowed him to figure out the type of course he wants.
Trout will now bring a beautiful one right by his hometown.
Woods is self-explanatory.
He’s arguably the greatest in his profession, too. If anyone in the world knows what should and shouldn’t be on a golf course, it’s the 15-time major winner.
Perhaps this will finally make Trout ask out of the Los Angeles Angels and request a trade to the Philadelphia Phillies.
His hometown, new golf course, and a chance to win.
What more could he ask for?
