KEVIN DURANT and LeBron James are two NBA superstars with a remarkable engine on court.
And these legends of the game – still breaking records well into their 30s – both share a passion for motors away from basketball.

One the highest-paid athletes in the world, Durant is a twelve-time NBA All Star and won the MVP award in 2014.
His bumper contract with the Brooklyn Nets will see the former Golden State forward earn upwards of $40milllion in the 2021-22 season.
And that’s not counting huge sponsorship deals with Nike and Foot Locker, which contribute to a whopping estimated net worth of $200m.
That buys you a lot of cars – and petrolhead Durant has a collection which leaves even his fellow NBA stars in the dust.
In September 2021, Durant’s epic entourage was estimated by MoneySpins to be worth $4,369,741.
His garage includes a vintage 1966 Ford GT40, one of just 105 models made, which set the NBA star back around $2.5m.
‘MOST EXPENSIVE CAR FLEET IN NBA’
Known as the ‘Ferrari Killer’, the iconic racer won Le Mans 24 Hours four years running and is nowadays only owned by the super-wealthy.
Durant also sports a $200,000 Ferrari California, a customised all-red Camaro SS and rugged off-road favourite the Jeep Wrangler within his collection.
And to complete the strong line-up, the 2007 second overall pick owns a Cadillac Escalade and gorgeous fourth-gen Lincoln Continental.
The entire fleet adds up to the most-expensive car collection of any player in the NBA – even beating James and his beloved Lamborghini Aventador Roadster.
The LA Laker might have more cars at his disposal with fifteen, but their collective worth trails Durant.

As well as his outrageous floral print Lambo, LeBron zips around LA in three Ferraris, a Rolls-Royce, two Maybachs and a Porsche.
His Rolls-Royce Phantom was reportedly a gift from Shaquille O’Neal and is armed with a monster V12, which churns out 563bhp.
And his luxurious taste is demonstrated by the $410,000 Mercedes-Maybach 57S, which has a rapid top speed of 275 km/h.
James is worth a stunning $450m – and he likes to make sure those closest to him can also travel in style.
‘FLORAL PRINT LAMBO’
He recently splashed out on a Mercedes Benz G-Class SUV – aka the G-Wagon – for his mum Gloria.
She thanked her son on Instagram, saying: “Thank you my caring and giving son for my early surprise birthday gift!”
“You’re always thinking of and doing things to help make my life easier and make me happy. Love you infinity.”
Both James and Durant are slated to appear in the 2022 NBA All-Star Game on February 20.
But Durant looks set to direct his team from the sidelines due to a lingering knee issue which has kept him off the court since January.
