Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone‘s charming Los Angeles compound sold for over $4 million less than two weeks after she listed it – nearly double the amount she purchased it for in 2019.
The Poor Things star listed her Spanish style home in Comstock Hills for $3.9 million less that one week after she won a Golden Globe Award in January.
The two-story home built in 1926 was sold to William Morris talent agent Norman Brokaw for $4.3 million just 10 days after it hit the market, reported Fox Business.
That’s just below the city’s mansion tax law, Measure ULA, which took effect in April that puts a 4 percent charge on all residential and commercial real estate sales in the city above $5 million.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom estate is nestled in the suburbs of Comstock Hills in Westwood, an upscale neighborhood bounded by Sunset Boulevard to the north and the Los Angeles Country Club to the east.

Stone, 35, has been nominated for the Best Actress Award at the upcoming Oscars for her role in Poor Things
The 35-year-old actress paid $2.3 million for the house in 2019, according to property records. The main residence and guesthouse span a combined 3,276 square feet, all situated on 0.15 acres.
Stone, who owns properties in Austin, Texas, and an apartment in New York City, had been using the home while working in LA and living there with her husband, writer-director Dave McCrary, 38, and their daughter Louise, who is almost three.
She carried out some significant renovations after purchasing the home five years ago, expanding the kitchen and adding a guest house.
The home features moss-green accents on the doorframes and shutters, plus a red shingled roof that perfectly contrasts the crisp white exterior paint.
A tiled patio outside is framed by lush foliage, and the driveway is tucked away behind a double-swinging wooden gate.
The front door opens to a sun-soaked entryway. To the left is a staircase with a wrought-iron handrail.
The living room features cheery green accents and a built-in fireplace. Several rooms have vaulted ceilings and bountiful windows throughout let the light in.
The updated kitchen includes an island girding a small sitting area and beyond, a door leading to a tiled deck that overlooks the grassy backyard.
The kitchen is separated from a downstairs bedroom by a red French door. Two additional bedrooms can be found upstairs, with additional space to accommodate a baby nursery.
One bathroom features a clawfoot tub and separate tiled shower, built-in vanity and dual mirrors.

The cozy guesthouse includes its own kitchen, den and bedroom suite with laundry -‘perfect for extended stays for family and friends or a well-appointed office,’ the listing declares.
The actress has been booked and busy following the huge success of her performance on Yorgos Lanthimos’ latest film Poor Things – which she also produced.
Her acclaimed role as Bella Baxter got her a Desert Palm Achievement award at the 35th Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards earlier last week as well as Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture at Golden Globes.
Now she is one of the best bets to win the Best Actress Award at the upcoming Oscars – which is set to take place on March 10 – battling it all out with Lily Gladstone, Margot Robbie and Carey Mulligan.
