Lenny Kravitz gave his approval to daughter Zoë Kravitz roasting him during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony while promoting new music on Wednesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
‘I thought it was quite appropriate,’ said the 59-year-old rocker after Jimmy, 49, noted that Denzel Washington, 69, gave a ‘beautiful speech’ while Zoë, 35, delivered a ‘speech and maybe even like a little roast’.
Jimmy then played a clip of Zoë talking about her father during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
‘I’ve seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love. I’ve seen your incredible dedication to your art, but mostly, I’ve seen through your shirts,’ Zoë deadpanned as Lenny started laughing.
‘According to my dad, if it doesn’t expose your nipples, it’s not a shirt,’ she continued.

‘Your relationship with the netted shirt is probably your longest one and it works,’ Zoe also was shown saying in the clip.
‘I mean, come on. That’s how you do it right there,’ Jimmy said.
‘It was great,’ Lenny said of her speech.
Lenny has Zoë with ex-wife Lisa Bonet, 56.
Zoe’s fiancé Channing Tatum, 43, also attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony and put on a loved-up display with his wife-to-be as she flashed her engagement ring.
Jimmy earlier asked Lenny if his Hollywood Star was in a ‘good location’.
‘A great location. Right in front of Capitol Records,’ Lenny said.
Lenny was on the NBC talk show to promote his upcoming twelfth studio album Blue Electric Light that is scheduled to be released on May 24 by Roxie Records with distribution handled by BMG Rights Management.

Jimmy asked him to describe the ‘vibe’ of the album.
‘Celebration, life, humanity, love, sexuality, sensuality, spirituality,’ Lenny said.
Lenny said he had a tour starting this summer in Europe and later played Human on the talk show.
Jimmy pointed out that Lenny played multiple instruments on the album and that Human had cowbell.
‘Yes. I love playing cowbells. I love playing percussion. And you cannot be in the studio playing cowbells without bringing you up, man. That skit is legendary,’ Lenny said referencing the ‘More Cowbell’ sketch that aired in April 2000 on Saturday Night Live.

The sketch More Cowbell starred Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell and hilariously depicts the recording of the 1976 song “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” by Blue Öyster Cult. The sketch also featured Jimmy, Chris Kattan, Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz and is considered one of the greatest SNL sketches ever.
