Nothing gets past the Swifties — and on the latest episode of the podcast “New Heights,” Jason Kelce casually dropped a comment about how his brother Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift was manifested.
On the Wednesday, March 27, episode, the former NFL player spoke to Saquon Barkley, the newly recruited running back for the Philadelphia Eagles, who revealed his aspiration to star in a boxing film someday.
“It can’t be that hard, you know what I mean?” Saquon shared. “Just act like I’m getting punched in the face, fight a little bit, end up losing, then you make money off of it. I’m not trying to be Leo [DiCaprio].”

After hearing Jason’s remark, it’s reasonable to predict that he’s referring to Travis’s association with Taylor, a connection that originated from a previous podcast mention. Last July, Travis shared his attempt to give Taylor his phone number on a friendship bracelet at one of her concerts.
The Kansas City Chiefs player said at the time: “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for he.” He continued: “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”
After this conversation, Taylor and Travis began spending time together, culminating in Taylor attending one of Travis’s Kansas City Chiefs games in September. From that point on, their relationship has continued to flourish.
