The 27-year-old pop act, who rose to fame as part of the girl group Fifth Harmony, released I LUV IT as a duet with rapper Playboy Carti.

During one of the song’s verses, she croons about being ‘super-twisted’ and ‘sick’ over a love affair that has left her ‘addicted.’

In keeping with the sultry tone of the number, Camila was the image of the Hollywood pinup when she swung by SiriusXM Studios for an interview Thursday.

Camila has released a statement accompanying the single, shedding light on how the turbulence in her own love life bled into the lyrics.

‘Certain things in our human realm do make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times where I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them,’ the Cinderella actress spilled.

‘Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and butterflies and nerves and passion,’ she confessed. ‘It’s unsustainable and not peaceful and exhausting, but also, I LUV IT.’

Last year, Camila hit the headlines for rekindling her public relationship with Shawn Mendes – only for news to leak of their breakup six weeks later.
