After getting active in the waves, she enjoyed some down time on the beach with her gaggle of girls.

With her hair pulled back in a casual bun, she accessorised her beach chic get-up with a pair of round sunglasses and black flip-flops.

The white-hot look follows her channelling Baywatch beauty Pamela Anderson earlier in the trip in a red swimsuit.

At one point, the posse took snaps with bride-to-be Priscilla DeLeon, for whom Selena is maid of honour.

Priscilla later posted on Instagram a shot of her and Selena with the caption: “My maid of honor really showed out this weekend and threw me the bachelorette party of my dreams. I am forever grateful.”

From the look of this girls’ trip, it appears Selena’s retreat from the spotlight has done her the world of good.

The Back To You singer quit Instagram again last month for the sake to escape trolling. (She previously quit the app in 2017 after becoming the most followed person in the world).

Speaking with US radio host Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa earlier last month, Selena said: “It would make me depressed.

“It would make me feel not good about myself, and look at my body differently.

“I used to use it a lot but I think it’s become really unhealthy for young people, including myself, to spend all of their time fixating on all of these comments and letting this stuff in.”

Selena’s ongoing battle with her mental health has been well-documented and she has completed several stints in rehab for anxiety and depression.

Back in October last year, the star, who also suffers from auto-immune disease Lupus, checked into an East Coast psychiatric facility.

There, she underwent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy which teaches patients how coping strategies through mindfulness and healthier communication.

Luckily, it seems like the worst of these problems are behind her, as she recently revealed she is ready to return to the spotlight with a new album.

Talking to US talk show host Jimmy Fallon last month, she revealed: “It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album, and it’s just because I had such huge moments that happened in my life personally that [it was like] how was I going to capture that and how was I actually going to feel good about what I was saying? So, I kept going, and I’m relieved now.”

And if how comfortable and in-control she looks on her recent weekend away is anything to go by, we can tell she’s gearing up for one hell of a comeback.
