Britney Spears is looking back at her imperfect, short-lived marriage to estranged husband Sam Asghari.
The “Toxic” singer took to Instagram Thursday to share a video of herself dancing with the actor as he effortlessly spun her around and lifted her in the air.
They appeared happy in the video — which has since been deleted — as they smiled at each other throughout the routine before ending with a kiss.
In the caption, Spears subtly hinted their broken romance wasn’t “all peaches and cream.”

“The time he picked me up,” she started the lengthy caption. “Looking back is hard sometimes but it’s honestly crucial … I’m honestly too sensitive in most situations .”
The Grammy winner, 42, reflected on the complexity of relationships, explaining most experience “strange turns.”
“I speak about my past sometimes because I want to protect myself from the same mistakes as before !!!” Spears continued, adding she’s learning not to shut herself down when going through difficult times.

The “Gimme More” songstress referred to herself as a “complicated sensitive” person, claiming it was “much easier” when she was younger.
“I feel like I trusted people more and I hadn’t experienced the cruelness of the world yet,” she wrote.
“I miss being vulnerable and open with people. If you know me, you know how I love … I love too much it’s embarrassing and I will love you for life !!! That’s a trait I want to try and keep but it’s not all peaches and cream as they say.”

“My hopes in sharing is that by remembering that I can try and understand why I never feel good enough,” Spears concluded.
The pop star deleted the post an hour after sharing it.
Last week, Spears admitted she wanted to be open about her struggles on social media but had reservations.
Spears and Asghari, 30, are currently dealing with the fallout of their split since the personal trainer filed for divorce in August 2023 after a year of marriage.

At the time, the “Circus” hitmaker admitted to her followers that she was “a little shocked” by their breakup but was “actually doing pretty damn good.”
Sources close to the former couple came forward hinting that Spears was the reason for their parting.
Per TMZ, Asghari was allegedly “telling people” he believed the Princess of Pop “hooked up with at least one of the male staff members working at her home.”
The outlet also reported that the fitness hunk “complained” Spears physically abused him — even leaving him with a black eye when she attacked him in his sleep.

Shortly after the accusations against Spears came to light, sources told Page Six there was no truth behind them.
However, in September, we confirmed that she had been dating her former housekeeper and ex-con Paul Richard Soliz amid her split from Asghari.
As the two work toward finalizing their divorce, insiders previously told us they “have had little to no contact, so ‘cordial’ is a stretch, but there is no drama currently.”
