It was more than little MiyahΒ Telemaque thought was ever possible.
The dream of the five-year-old cancer victimβs life was to meet her idol, Nicki Minaj, and have one of her signature pink wigs.
And on Sunday the rapper made that happen β thanks to the intervention of Washington Wizardsβ basket ball player John Wall who made a video with the π€π©πͺππ₯, where she revealed her fondest wish, that went viral.
According to E! News, Miyah has undergone seven chemotherapy treatments since being diagnosed with Stage 3B Burkittβs lymphoma last year.
The Wizards sent Miyah and her mother Kadisha Telemaque from their home in Washington DC to New York to meet the star in a Manhattan recording studio.
The star shared the touching event in a series of Instagram snaps and a video in which she told her little fan: βIβm so happy that you got your pink wig. I think youβre beautiful without the pink wig, okay?
βWhenever you want to play dress up and feel like a little Barbie Doll, thatβs fine. But, remember you promised me that you were gonna stay in school.β
Little Miyah looked radiant in her specially made pink wig and a red and brown cardigan over a pink T-shirt. And she couldnβt stop smiling as the beautiful singer cuddled up to her.
βHer smile, it lit the room up,β Kadisha told the Washington Post. βTo her, it was all like a dream.β
Miyah also gave the singer and her manager Washington Wizards jerseys autographed by John Wall.
On Tuesday, Nicki posted a Twitter shout out to Emmy award-winning hairstylist Oscar James, saying: βThank u so much for making the perfect wig for Miyah. Always humble n classy. Thank u @OscarJamesHairβ
