McGregor is enjoying his time before beginning training camp for his UFC return.
Conor McGregor took to Instagram to share snaps as he enjoyed a BBQ in the sun with his family over the weekend.
The Notorious shared the images with his 47.5 million followers and could be seen cooking steak, chicken and burgers on the grill in his garden as the sun beats down.
Captioning the post, McGregor simply wrote: “First bbq of the season, let’s go! #happysunday.”
While McGregor was enjoying a relaxing weekend with his family, he will be returning to the gym this week to begin preparations for his UFC return.
The Dubliner returns to the octagon at UFC 303 on June 29 when he takes on Michael Chandler, and revealed in a social media post over the weekend that he had ‘five more nights on the delicious’ before beginning his training camp.
McGregor hasn’t fought in the UFC since July 2021 when he suffered a horror leg injury against Dustin Poirier.
The former two-weight champion appeared alongside Michael Chandler on the Ultimate Fighter reality series in last year, but no fight materialised between the pair in 2023.
Fully healthy once more, McGregor will be looking to pick up his first UFC win since beating Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in 2020.
