An Alliance Forms Between The Most Unlikely Of Women — Carly And Nina

General Hospital Spoilers tease Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) couldn’t help but gravitate toward the two women who know her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), best when she was beginning to sense a feeling of doubt about him.

Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) words cut through Kristina like a knife, and they left her shaken enough to go seeking validation for her feelings anywhere that she might unearth them.

Kristina thought it would be rather unlikely that Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) or Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) would confirm Joss’ vicious claim about her father, but it seems Carly stopped herself short and Nina had other things on her mind.

Will Kristina carry Nina’s concerns back to Carly and bridge the gap between the two women who are the only people who can save her father?

General Hospital Spoilers — Kristina Davis Runs Back To Carly Spencer

Kristina took Carly’s warning about asking too many questions very seriously. She could tell from the look on her face that she might not know her father as well as his ex-wife does.

Still not wanting to believe ordering a hit on a helpless man fighting for his life in the hospital is the kind of guy her dad is, Kristina may seek to pin Sonny’s recent more erratic behavior on Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) malicious intentions.

If Kristina carries Nina’s water back to Carly and conveys Ava’s plot to co-opt Sonny and isolate him from everyone who cares about him, will Carly even care enough anymore to intervene?

GH Spoilers – Leak Ava Jerome Raises Some Red Flags

Ava certainly isn’t trying to be a cause for alarm, but she’s not covering her tracks very well either. She must be pretty confident in her ability to sway Sonny’s way of thinking with how cavalier she was about more or less admitting her intentions to Nina.

Moreover, she poured Sonny a glass of whiskey right in front of Kristina without so much as a second thought.

Her sloppiness may come back to bite her as she continues to make moves that aren’t in line with Sonny’s best interests — and Kristina will be watching. Perhaps upon her urging, Nina and Carly will be, too.

General Hospital Spoilers — Frenemies Forever?

In an ideal world, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would be the go-to guy to save Sonny from himself. But Sonny isn’t taking Jason’s strongly-worded advice, and Ava seems to be the only person who really has his ear right now.

If Kristina starts to be a squeaky wheel, Ava might quickly create the necessary context to isolate Sonny away from her just like all the rest.

So she will have to be careful about what she says and how she says it. If she can’t break through to convince Sonny that Ava is bad news, rumor has it Nina and Carly just might come together in the best interest of both their families to put a stop to Ava’s agenda.

Britain’s multi-billion pound aircraft carriers get sunk ‘in most war games’ – and officials have discussed mothballing one to save cash

Britain’s recently built multi-billion pound aircraft carriers may already be out of date, with military sources revealing that the carries get sunk ‘in most war games’. At present, the Royal Navy boasts two £6.2 billion aircraft carriers, the HMS Queen Elizabeth and the HMS Prince of Wales, which were only commissioned into service in 2017 and 2019 respectively. However, given the constant advancements in weapon technology, the ships may now be too susceptible to modern missiles to prove effective in wartime operation.
