Jordan Plans To Become Mayor, Undermines Laura

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has served as Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) Deputy Mayor for quite a while now after serving as Police Commissioner for many years as well.

Up until now, the two have worked quite well together with Jordan even filling in when Laura had to go out of town. But all of that may be changing and it’s all because of one person: Heather Webber (Alley Mills).

General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber Has Plagued Port Charles For ears!

For years now, Heather has been in and out of institutions and prisons for committing some of the most violent crimes in Port Charles history.

Heather even did a stint as “The Hook”, a serial killer who killed many citizens of town including Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and police officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Kruse).

A recent discovery indicates that at least some of Heather’s crimes may have been caused because Heather has been suffering from cobalt poisoning.

GH Spoilers – Laura Collins And Jordan Ashford Disagree About Heather Webber!

Laura has taken an interest in Heather’s case, even looking into the possibility of having Heather’s sentence reduced or vacated. When Laura told Jordan about the situation, Jordan urged Laura to stay out of it.

Jordan informed Laura that she might be committing political suicide, pointing out that Heather murdered a police officer. While Laura is aware, she still seems to want to advocate for Heather.

Jordan decided to tell Stella Henry (Vernae Watson) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) all about Laura’s plan. Needless to say, both Trina and her mother Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) were furious with Laura.

General Hospital Spoilers – What Is Jordan Howard Ashford Up To?

But the question remains: why did Jordan feel the need to tell Stella and Trina about Heather’s plans so early? It seems as though she has decided that Laura needs to be stopped and is gathering allies.

Perhaps Jordan has decided the best way to keep Heather in prison is to turn public opinion against Laura so she can take the mayor position for herself, at least until the next election.

Perhaps Jordan sees Laura’s action as personal and that’s why she told Stella and Trina. Otherwise, it seems like she is betraying her position.

GH Spoilers – What Do You Think?

Do you agree with Laura about Heather? What about the families of all of Heather’s victims? Would Jordan make a better mayor?

Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC. And don’t forget to check back right here regularly for all your General Hospital news, information and spoilers!
