They’ve been one of Hollywood’s hottest couples since their picture-perfect debut at a White House event last year, and now Ciara and Russell Wilson are happily planning their wedding after an epic proposal in the Seychelles. But aside from being one of the brightest stars in the NFL, who exactly is the Grammy winner’s husband-to-be?

Here are five things to know about Russell Wilson.

1. He’s a mogul in the making.

Since inking his contract with the Seahawks in 2012, the quarterback has become the face of some of the biggest companies in the world, including Nike, Microsoft, Bose, Alaska Airlines, Braun … and the list goes on. He also has a stake in private jet aviation company Wheels Up, frozen food company Luvo, Eat the Ball and The Players Tribune.

“One of his ultimate goals is owning two professional sports teams,” says a Wilson source. “He’s constantly keeping updated on the global business markets, and his business acumen is phenomenal.”

2. His heart is with the kids.

Wilson makes weekly visits to the Seattle Children’s Hospital on his days off during the NFL season (and his fiancée has joined him several times when she’s in town). He also supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and has hosted the Russell Wilson Passing Academy for youths in several cities during offseason. Wilson also recently launched men’s apparel line Good Man Brand, which gives $3 from every purchase to charity.

3. He fell hard – and fast – for Ciara.

Throughout their courtship, Wilson hasn’t been shy when it comes to gushing about his future wife, whom he met through a mutual friend. “His love life could not be more perfect,” says the source.

The singer also fits right in with Wilson’s teammates and their significant others. “They’re a cute couple, and it seems like they have real love,” says another insider. “She’s very sociable, friendly, inclusive and down-to-earth.”

4. He’s a family man.

Wilson grew up in a close-knit family, and when it came to picking a date for the White House Correspondents dinner, he brought one very special lady in his life – his grandma. “Can’t wait to dance with my beautiful date at the WHCD this weekend! #shegotmoves #loveugrandma,” he captioned an adorable video on Facebook.

5. Even Siri agrees he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
