When Max Verstappen won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last month, claiming his first Formula One championship, he was spotted running into his girlfriend Kelly Piquet’s arms to celebrate the victory. Soon the world became curious to know about the Brazilian beauty who swept the Belgian-Dutch racing driver off his feet. The adorable couple became reportedly official at the beginning of 2021. So, what do we know about Kelly? It is significant to note that Kelly is the daughter of three-time legendary F1 champion Nelson Piquet. She is somewhat considered an F1 royalty and a familiar face on the circuit. Kelly grew up around the sport with her Dutch mother, a former model Sylvia Tamsma. Before Verstappen, the Brazilian model dated Daniil Kvyat, with whom she shares a two-year-old daughter Penelope. Happily, Kelly’s new beau has always shown his fondness for the adorable kid and often shared pictures of him with her on social media. As a model, she has posed for many fashion brands and walked the catwalk in a number of fashion shows. Her ultra-glamorous Instagram is filled with modelling shots as well as snaps of her lavish holidays. Meanwhile, the F1 champ Verstappen is often captured by her side as the duo snuggle up in various luxurious destinations.
