In a surprising turn, Marvel Studios teased fans with a poster for “Deadpool & Wolverine,” featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman donning friendship bracelets—a nod to Swift’s Eras Tour trend. Despite the buzz, Entertainment Weekly reports that Swift will not make an appearance in the 2024 Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Her demanding schedule ultimately prevented her from participating in the project. Addressing these rumors, Taylor Swift stated, “As much as I love the Marvel universe and admire Ryan and Hugh, my current commitments didn’t allow me the time to be part of this exciting project.”

This special edition included additional performances such as “Long Live” and “Death by a Thousand Cuts.” The streaming debut was a massive success, garnering 4.6 million views and 16.2 million viewing hours within its first three days, making it Disney+’s most-watched music film.
While Swift does not have any other acting roles announced at the moment, she is set to make her directorial debut soon.
