It was reported that female rappers Cardi B and her new bundle of joy were on the receiving end of thoughtful gifts from Nicki Minaj possibly ending the beef the two had earlier this year.

But the olive branch doesn’t seem to actually have been extended.

According to sources close to Cardi B, 25, her team had reached out to West Hollywood baby store Petit Trésor to verify if the 35-year-old Starships hitmaker had actually sent something but it doesn’t seem like Nicki had purchased anything reports TMZ on Thursday.

The designer baby store only has one location as the member of the Invasion Of Privacy hitmaker’s team was informed by the owner that there was no purchase made by the former girlfriend of Meek Mill.

The publication also confirmed with Petit Trésor that no transaction had been made by Minaj or a member of her team.

This comes just a day after  The Blast reported Minaj had gifted the Bodak Yellow hitmaker a $5000 baby basket from exclusive Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Trésor.

According to the insider, Nicki’s basket has already been shipped express post to her fellow rapper’s Atlanta home, and should arrive by end of day Wednesday.

The LA store has also served the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner – who was reported to have ‘spent thousands’ on eco-friendly products for her newborn daughter Stormi back in February.

Nicki’s kind gesture comes after Cardi announced on Wednesday morning that she had given birth to her daughter, naming her Kulture Kiari Cephus.
