Kim Kardashian watches her oldest child North eat a raw onion like an apple and reflects on her struggles in raising her creative child on The Kardashians.
The 43-year-old mom of four also opened up on the struggles she’s had raising her 10-year-old daughter.
‘North is really special and smart and creative and definitely beats to her own drum. Like her personality is really, really silly,’ Kim says in confession.
North is preparing something in the kitchen, as a producer asks, ‘Can your mom cook?’
‘Heck no,’ North says, as Kim admits in confession, ‘After talking to Kourtney, she really encouraged me to do small things with my kids like one-on-one cooking stuff, whatever the kids want to do, and North loves to cook.’

Kim walks over and says, ‘Oh wow! You should Facetime Auntie Kendall,’ referring to her infamous cucumber cutting back in Season 2.
Back in the kitchen, Kim asks North if they should, ‘call the chef in,’ as North defiantly says, ‘No we’re doing this on our own.’
‘It’s so interesting because her temperament as a child is the same now, you definitely come out your own person. Kourtney always says that North is my lesson on this planet,’ Kim says in confession.
When a producer asks what that means, Kim says, ‘It means that I’m supposed to learn even more patience. She teaches me patience, she has taught me a lot about life.’
Kim tells North that she’s going to a prison soon, but she’s surprised when North just picks up a raw onion and starts eating it raw.

‘No, it’s so strong, oh my gosh my eyes are literally tearing. How do you not tear?’ Kim asks North, as her oldest child cracks a smile.
Earlier in the episode, Kim explains to Kourtney, ‘North was throwing a fit, trying to get her in the car is so draining for me after like an hour, hour and a half, that I literally was in the car, and I was like driving to school in the pouring rain and I was like hysterically crying, but Chi was right behind me so she couldn’t see I was crying. So we’re in the car and Chi’s like, ‘Mom, I have to go potty,’ but we’re on that long strip to where there’s nowhere to pull over. I didn’t have a cup. I didn’t have anything.’

Kourtney asks, ‘Couldn’t she just squat on the side of the road?’ Kim answers, ‘It was pouring rain, is she gonna like pee outside in the rain? Like and I’m just like and she’s gonna cry and she’s so clingy and she holds my leg, it just depends on the day.’
Kim adds that, ‘Nothing was good enough. I took Saint on this trip and he was so excited, but then North was furious and she wouldn’t speak to me because she didn’t get an alone trip. And I’m like, ‘You always get alone trips.’
Kourtney adds, ‘But what if you don’t make it so extreme and do like a private dinner with North, or something. Go on a walk, go on a hike, go to tea. Even if you spend like… I’ll do with Reign like where we’re just sitting and like talking and like have like real focused attention.’
Kim added, ‘Yeah, I need to do that,’ while Kourtney adds, ‘It doesn’t have to be a crazy thing, you know.’
