Ariana Grande is a woman who knows what she wants. And over the weekend, what she wanted was two massive shopping bags from Chanel. (Same.)

On October 21, the singer was spotted in New York City’s Soho neighborhood — one of her first public outings since splitting from former fiancé Pete Davidson — toting around two gigantic Chanel shopping bags. While we’re not sure what, exactly, was in said giant shopping bags (@Ari, can we get a haul vid, or what?), it’s not hard to imagine that they’re filled with some seriously luxurious merch. After all, this is Chanel we’re talking about here.

For her girl’s day out, Ariana wore a puffy white parka paired with grey leggings and white boots, and finished the look with a pair of oversized pearl earrings. She eschewed her usual ponytail for a twisted topknot.

In a now-deleted post from October 17, Ariana shared that she would be taking a social media break as a form of self-care. (News that she and Pete had broken up broke on October 14; Pete later confirmed their change in relationship status during a comedy routine on October 20.) “Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit. it’s hard not to bump news n stuff that i’m not tryna to see rn. it’s very sad and we’re all tryin very hard to keep goin. love u. and thank u for bein here always,” she wrote.

Given that she’s been posting images since that message, it appears the break was a short-lived one. And hey, like you really need an excuse to treat yourself, especially at a store like Chanel.
