Machine Gun Kelly and Martin Brundle combined for one of the most awkward grid walk interviews in F1 memory on Sunday.

The award-winning singer-songwriter, rapped and actor was happy to speak to Sky Sports icon Brundle in the build-up to the Brazillian GP, despite not seeming to know who each other were.

Undisturbed, Brundle asked some generic questions to the 33-year-old partner of Megan Fox but annoyed him by refusing to do both an air guitar and air piano live on air.

The interview started with Brundle asking Kelly about his career, with the singer appearing to be distracted by Brundle’s memorial poppy pin.

The singer and rapper looked baffled before saying that he doesnt think about his career – looking directly down the lens.

Brundle added: “Good luck with it… whatever you. What do you think of our business in Formula One?”

Kelly added: “I think your business is great, it’s loud, your life is on the line, that’s exciting. I was in a studio the other week and Lewis Hamilton was in the other studio, that was nice. What do you think about my business?”

Brundle then responded: “We love your business, there has always been great synergy between the music business and the motor racing business somehow.”

Kelly then asked for Brundle to give his best air guitar, which he refused by saying that he once learned the piano, before given a rendition of his own.

The rapper then asked if that they could do a duet live on air which got another refusal before Brundle cut the interview short and Kelly walked off into the crowd.
