Venus Williams was rightfully idolized by a passionate fan during the Austin City Limits Music festival in a now-viral video.
The tennis legend, 43, who has seven Grand Slams to her name, attended the music event in Zilker Park in Austin, Texas, earlier this month and her attendance has gone viral for a hilarious reason.
A clip of a girl, later identified as Haley Cline, silencing her friends in an attempt to get them to respect the on-court great in front of her has lit up social media.
A TikTok user, queenku_, captured the moment Cline realized Williams was stood behind her.
In the video, someone then tried to talk to Cline, which caused her to brutally shut them down as she basked in Williams’ presence.

She hilariously screamed: ‘Shut up! She’s a f**king American treasure! She’s an American treasure! What the f*** is wrong with you?’
Williams, who was stood having her markup touched up by an assistant in the background, couldn’t contain her laughter as she lost her composure at the young lady continuously calling her an ‘American treasure’.
Williams’ guest, former tennis player Prakash Amritraj, also chuckled while the woman’s friends laughed as she continued to gush.
The TikTok user captioned the post: ‘Such an appropriate reaction to randomly seeing queen Venus Williams! She told me Venus paved the way for so many women and she was honestly just in shock!! Tiktok do your thing and find her!!!’
And the users in the comments agreed as one wrote: ‘The only way to act like girl that’s Venus Williams.’

Following her 24th appearance at the US Open, which ended with a first-round loss to Belgian Greet Minnen, Williams has been enjoying some time away from the court.
The former World No. 1 will miss the first Grand Slam of 2024, the Australian Open, and will instead target a March return.
‘I tried my best to recover for the US Open. I did not reach my form so now I am just resting until I get back,’ Williams said via Tennis.com.
‘I am targeting March, that’s when the tournaments go back to the States, so my goal is to be up and running when tournaments come back to the US.’
