Elizabeth Berkley had nothing but love for Ariana Grande after the pop star dressed up as Berkley’s iconic character Nomi Malone from 1995’s Showgirls for Halloween.
The Saved By The Bell alum took to her Instagram on Monday to share photos of herself as the original Las Vegas dancer alongside Ariana’s take on the Joe Eszterhas-created role.
‘This past week, the magical @arianagrande recreated my #Nomi for #halloween with all the love and attention to detail that only an artist with her heart and creative genius could do,’ she gushed, as she included snaps of Ariana’s former Victorious costar Elizabeth Gillies, who got gussied up as showgirl Cristal Connors (played by Gina Gershon) from the film.
Berkley continued: ‘I adore you, @arianagrande and love how you and @lizgillz had fun with #nomiandcrystal in a way that only you two could’.
With hilarious hashtag references to the erotic thriller, she added: ‘When you are from #differentplaces you have to watch your back because when you are wearing @versace #versayce #theresalwayssomeoneyoungerandhungriercomingdownthestairsafteryou’.

In her original IG post featuring herself dressed as the cult classic’s main protagonist, Grande was nearly indistinguishable from Berkley, who portrayed the fictional Las Vegas transplant that becomes one of Sin City’s top showgirls, in the controversial NC-17 rated film.
In one image, uploaded to her Instagram on Halloween, Grande could be seen with stripes of gold glitter in her high ponytail as she rocked a pale pink robe over a sheer nude leotard.
The two-time Grammy winner also rocked a dramatic winged white liner, dazzling gems around her eyes and a pair of dangly pearl earrings.
The Scream Queens star and her former Victorious costar, also 30, nailed several other looks from the legendary Hollywood bomb.
Gillies shared an image of them both rocking black leather jackets and a cheeky shot of herself shaving her legs in a see-through, purple robe with feathers on the cuffs.

Gillies was a dead ringer for Cristal Conners (Gina Gershon) with her beautiful brunette locks styled in a wavy updo while smiling into the camera.
‘You are a wh**e, darlin’,’ Gillies captioned her post, referencing a line her character told Grande’s.
The pair also shared a multiple videos, in which they recreated scenes from the film, which included one of Grande’s character insisting she is not a ‘wh**e.’
‘You and me, we are exactly alike,’ Gillies retorted.
‘I’ll never be like you,’ Grande said, before throwing champagne in Gillies’ face.
Grande made sure to share bloopers of them breaking character as they attempted to film through their laughter and struggle to keep a straight face.

In 2013, Gillies was featured on the singer’s EP Christmas Kisses, where they performed a duet of the holiday standard, Santa Baby.

The actress later made an appearance during one of the hitmaker’s concerts in 2019, where they performed a track from Victorious.
Earlier this year, Grande penned a heartfelt birthday tribute to Gillies as she called her ‘the most beautiful, brilliant, talented, funniest person’ she has ‘ever met.’
‘You have made my heart so unfathomably happy and whole these past 16 years! Absolutely everything and also, absolutely nothing has changed. I love you more than words can possibly express and I hope we can be best friends in every life,’ she gushed.
