Following Liverpool’s Europa League loss, Darwin Nunez rejected Toulouse player Frank Magri’s handshake, indicating that he was not in the mood for them.
The French team, ranked 14th in Ligue 1, defeated the Reds 3-2 on Thursday night to win their first-ever Europa League encounter of the season.

Nunez was not one to shake hands with Magri at full-time
Nunez’s behavior brought up memories of Jorginho, who, following the contentious game, similarly declined to shake hands with the Newcastle player.
Liverpool may have put up their worst game of the year, but considering their past history, they still lead Group E.
Shortly after the Reds scored their first goal of the game on an own goal by Cristian Casseres Jr., Nunez was brought on to replace Cody Gakpo.
But seconds later, Toulouse scored a vital third goal as attacker Magri took advantage of some shoddy Liverpool defending.
Following the norm of shaking the hands of opponents at the full-time whistle, he volunteered to do the same with Nunez.
The Liverpool player, however, was having none of it and unsportsmanlikely tossed his hand in the air, ignoring Magri.
During his cameo in the second half, Nunez was unable to have much of an impact on the game or help the Reds salvage a draw.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were poor for most of the tie and had to settle for just their second defeat in all competitions this season.
Toulouse’s Aron Donnum scored the first goal after Kostas Tsimikas lost possession and the Norwegian fired into the goal.
Before Liverpool’s own goal gave them hope, the hosts doubled their lead on a poor finish from Thijs Dallinga on the hour mark.
Toulouse’s two-goal advantage was restored by Magri’s effort through the crowd, but Diogo Jota also scored for a delightful finish.
Jarell Quansah gave Liverpool hope that they had tied the score at three, but a VAR review revealed that Alexis Mac Allister had handballed the ball.
