22-year-old twin brothers, Darion and Varion Walton who overcame a childhood filled with poverty, achieved success by bagging their master’s degrees at Harvard University, in the United States.

Darion and Varion Walton were raised by a single mother in Jewett, Texas, a town with a population of less than 1,000 people according to Risingafrica. They faced many challenges growing up, such as poverty, racism, and lack of opportunities.

However, the Walton twins did not let their circumstances define them. Instead, they used their passion for learning and service to overcome the odds and pursue their dreams. The twins started their academic journey at Navarro College, Texas in the United States.

While at the college, they were involved in honors programs, student organizations, volunteer work, and leadership roles and also worked as resident advisors, student ambassadors, and tutors.

After they completed their bachelor’s degrees, the Walton twins applied to Harvard Business School and were accepted into the university’s Masters of Business Administration (MBA)program.
