Tattoo model Sara Phuto shared a heavily edited photo of herself on her Instagram account – before revealing what she really looked like. She did it to send a warning to her fans.
Model and influencer Sara Phuto is known for keeping it real with her honest content on Instagram.
And in her latest post, she helped fans realise how much editing a photo can change it.
To do this, the tattoo lover shared a heavily edited photo of herself on her Instagram account – before revealing what she really looked like.
In the edited snap, Sarah – who boasts 417,000 followers – was fully made up, sported a chiseled jawline and rocked long blonde locks.
However, in her real snap, she showed that she was actually makeup-free, had a short golden bob hairstyle and had a slightly fuller face.

Captioning the post, Sara told fans: “I remember growing up and seeing all these perfect selfies on tumblr, and then eventually on Instagram.
“I remember thinking why I wasn’t able to take what seemed like those ‘flawless’ selfies I kept seeing online.
“So in case anyone else needs the reminder, there are typically 10-100 or more photos that don’t get posted when you see selfies online.
“Don’t compare yourself to what you see online.”
Fans were quick to praise Sara over the honest post, as one wrote: “Your posts help me so much!”
“You are literally my favourite person on Instagram,” added another.

While a third chimed in: “You’re such a wonderful human! Thanks for always being candid and honest.”
The post comes after Sara previously edited one of her selfies even more to the extreme – as she made herself into an ‘old man’.
The influencer did this to show just how far some people go to change their snaps online.
