With The Truth Coming Out, What Is The Next Step For Charlotte?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is scared of what could come next for her after she recovers from a gunshot wound inflicted by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Being shot was a worthy cause if it means she gets to put an end to Valentin Cassadine’s (Charles Patrick Stuart) relationship with Anna.

That might come later as they struggle to move past this incident, but for now, Anna and Valentin are still hanging onto each other — and that’s going to drive Charlotte mad. Lucky for her, everyone already thinks she is.

General Hospital Spoilers — Shadybrook Calling…

The next stop on the Pony Express for Charlotte is likely Shadybrook. She’s not going to like that move one bit, but Valentin needs to know she’s in a guarded facility that is safe, so she’s not a threat to Anna, herself, or anyone else.

Locking Charlotte up forever won’t be the solution, nor does he want that. He needs to figure out how to undo this brainwashing, and that’ll be a difficult task, given that he doesn’t know how it even began.

Moreover, when she reports what has happened to her and what Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) did, the staff at Shadybrook are only going to think she’s gone insane.

GH Spoilers – Tease Victor Cassadine Had His Ducks In A Row

Victor certainly did know the course he was charting well when he mapped this out. Targeting Charlotte as a means of targeting Anna was pure genius, and the former WSB agent won’t have a problem admitting that. But Charlotte might.

It seems that she remembers her grandfather’s involvement, but not directly enough to tell anyone what happened to her. We can expect the truth of that to come out down the road.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Vendetta Continues

While Charlotte won’t be showing any signs of slowing down on her takedown of Anna, she may also tack on a few more names to the list of people she needs to keep far away from her papa. At the top next to Anna — Laura Collins (Genie Francis) could soon become Charlotte’s next target.

People with ties to Valentin aren’t the least bit safe. Even his attorney, Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) could be in for a real surprise as Charlotte zeros in on anyone and everyone who might have helped Valentin get Charlotte committed to Shadybrook.
