Nina Sees Drew’s Homecoming As Her Saving Grace — But Is It?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is relieved to know that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has been released from Pentonville with his three-year sentence being commuted.

The threat of harm coming to him now that would have been on her shoulders is non-existent, but that doesn’t mean she’s breathing that much lighter these days.

Now that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) knows the truth about what she did — ratting Drew and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) out to the SEC — she’ll have to bend to his will if she wants to keep it under wraps from everyone else.

Still, Nina may believe that since Drew is back, it will soon be as though the whole mess never happened. In time, could it all fade to black and leave her with enough room to renegotiate with Michael?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Peace Offering

Michael may have twisted Nina’s arm to get her to offer up her half of the Metro Court for Carly to buy back, but on the surface, it’s going to look like Nina is trying to be the bigger person and do the right thing.

Of course, Carly is going to be suspicious the entire time because she knows Nina never does anything purely out of the kindness of her heart — and she certainly wouldn’t for Carly.

Is this for show — to earn points with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), or something else entirely? Does Carly really have room to bite the hand that feeds her?

GH Spoilers – Tease There’s No Escaping This Memory

Carly’s memory is long, but Willow’s may be even longer — nevermind Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard).

If Nina is hoping that Drew’s homecoming will smooth things over for her and make everyone feel less upset should they find out the truth, she’s got another thing coming.

Of course, when Carly learns the truth and lashes out at Nina for almost getting Drew killed in Pentonville, we can expect it’ll be her number one defense to claim she never intended for that to happen. That’s what she always says.

Further, Nina won’t accept responsibility for anything she didn’t do directly. Who are we kidding? She barely accepts it for what she does do — directly!

No one is going to forget the pain they went through seeing Drew carted off to prison for three years. Just because Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) worked an angle to get her out doesn’t mean Nina is off the hook.

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain Came Home Harder

There will be a lot of focus on how the truth coming out will impact Nina’s relationships with Sonny and Willow, but few have discussed how Drew might feel.

Sure, he’s already not keen on Nina, given all that she’s done to Carly and her family. But Drew picked up a few things in prison, and one of them might have been a tougher exterior.
