Serena Williams Shares New Photos Cozying Up with Adira and Olympia

The tennis icon and her husband welcomed their second 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 girl in August

The tennis legend, 42, released two new pictures of her daughter Adira River on Thursday. She and her husband, internet entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian, welcomed Adira River in August.

While her infant daughter was curled up on a soft blanket in the first Instagram Story post by Williams, Olympia, her oldest daughter, age 6, joined in on the fun in the second.

Olympia sat next to her mom, appearing drowsy, as Adira lay on her mom’s chest wearing a moon-printed sleepsuit.

The child, who was dressed in a vibrant floral frock, was photographed with her head resting on a pillow and her eyes fixed on the camera.

Ohanian, 40, revealed Adira’s name on Instagram on Aug. 22 with a sweet family photo.

“Welcome, Adira River Ohanian,” the post began. “I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams, you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT.”

“Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 sister.”

He concluded the post with a quote, writing, “Your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.”

The post also featured two adorable pictures of Ohanian introducing Adira to Olympia for the first time.

The couple first announced Adira’s arrival on TikTok. In the video, shared to Williams’ account, the family is seen sitting at a table, with Olympia leaning on Williams as Ohanian types on a laptop in front of them.

Williams then stands up and says she’ll be right back, before returning with a tightly swaddled 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 in her arms. As Williams sits back down between her husband and daughter, both admire the infant and Olympia plants a kiss on her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 sister’s forehead. The TikTok ends with two cute Polaroid-style shots of the new family of four.

“Welcome my beautiful angel,” the sportswoman captioned the video.

Last month, lucky 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 Adira was showered with gifts from her mom’s longtime partner brand Nike.

Sharing a glimpse at the impressive haul on her Instagram Story, Williams revealed the brand had sent her little one plenty of cute shoes and tiny outfits.

“Look at all this stuff for 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 Adira, Williams told the camera as she panned through the gift boxes. “I really love the little Nike shoes, just always so sweet.”

“Look at this little crop top!” she continued. “It’s pretty awesome. Thanks to my Nike family!”
