Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce reveals secret to wooing superstar – and it involves Weatus’ most famous song

Speaking about the fateful night before admitting he was terrified of saying the wrong thing to turn off the Bad Blood hitmaker, he told the Wall Street Journal: “There was some wine involved, for sure.”

Opening up about their relationship for the first time, Travis, 34, said: “That was the biggest thing to me: make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away.

“I’ve never been a man of words.

“Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f***ing mind-blowing.

Swift ‘shows fame insecurity with fashion choice, there’s a dark side’

“I’m learning every day.

“Everybody knows I’m a family guy.

“Her team is her family.

“Her family does a lot of stuff in terms of the tour, the marketing, being around, so I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley.”

In the early days of their romance, so few people knew about their bond that even Taylor Swift’s cousins were kept in the dark.

He added: “She’ll probably hate me for saying this, but…when she came to Arrowhead [stadium to play her show], they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures…in front of my locker.”

Travis first let slip his feelings for Taylor back in September during an interview with the NFL but remained coy.

He told the Pat McAfee Show: “I threw the ball in her court, and I told her ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead.

“‘You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.’

“So, we’ll see what happens in the near future.”

On September 24 Taylor sent fans into an online meltdown as she attended Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs game alongside his mum Donna.

Since then the pair have been inseparable – with Travis recently joining Taylor’s dad in the VIP section of her Eras Tour show in Argentina.
