Solo stunner Emilia Clarke‘s pixie cut got its red carpet debut at the Los Angeles premiere of My Dinner with Hervé at Paramount Studios on Thursday.

The British 31-year-old’s ‘low maintenance’ look was inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow‘s chic break-up makeover from the 1998 parallel universe rom-com Sliding Doors.

Before making the chop last week, the three-time Emmy nominee had always ‘dreamed of cutting it all off and having a pixie cut’ but she worried ‘that my face could take it.’

‘My hair was, like, dying!’ Emilia admitted to Harper’s Bazaar UK last month.

‘It’s almost the shortest it’s been. I’m honestly trying to grow out the blonde, because it’s just killed my hair, and I miss having nice hair! I do like the length but I wish my hair was longer. I do bloody love long hair!’

 

Clarke went topless beneath her black tuxedo and stilettos selected by stylist Petra Flannery, and her make-up was applied by Kate Lee for the screening.

The big-browed beauty’s matronly new mane came courtesy of her hairstylist Jenny Cho, because of all the damage she accrued from bleaching it platinum blonde in July 2017 for HBO’s Game of Thrones.
