Mariah Carey conspired with Jimmy Kimmel‘s wife Molly McNearney to prank him in the middle of the night.
The Queen of Christmas brought Santa Claus, Elves and her All I Want For Christmas is You to the late night talk show host’s bedroom at 2 AM.
‘Jimmy, I didn’t mean to wake you up, but it’s time!’ Carey whispered sweetly as Kimmel was woken from a deep sleep.
And Mariah – who is being sued over All I Want For Christmas Is You – isn’t the only singer to participate in the late night shenanigans for viewers’ amusement.
Rihanna, Britney Spears, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus have all also pranked Kimmel in the middle of the night with his wife’s help.

Molly was positively gleeful over pranking her husband and danced with joy as Mariah and crew sang.
Once the group moved out of the bathroom and downstairs, Mariah gave Kimmel a t-shirt from her Christmas line.
‘I’m like laying there and I’m like something smells good,’ he told the Santa suit clad singer.
Mariah also sat down for an interview in studio and they mused on the enduring success of her 1994 hit.
The song hits #1 every holiday season, which she called ‘bananas’ because it was the first holiday song she ever wrote.
‘I just wanted it to sound like a classic because that’s the kind of Christmas song I want… I just wanted it to be timeless,’ she said.

But when the public wants Christmas music, Mariah is happy to oblige them.
‘I had to just go with the flow because everybody was rushing the holiday season and they started playing my song, so I kept being like, “not yet, don’t play it yet, why are we playing Christmas songs?”‘
