Today we have One Piece Chapter 1100 spoilers.

Meanwhile, we learn that Bonney accidentally ate a Devil Fruit which impacts age. This causes humorous confusion about her real age.

More details are revealed about Kuma’s past and the reasoning behind the decisions he makes. We find out that he is searching for a cure to help Bonney with her Devil Fruit illness.

This leads Kuma to reconnect with his former revolutionary allies, including Dragon.

Vegapunk offers a cure but demands a high cost in return – Kuma must agree to become a host for Vegapunk’s clone army plans.

Kuma accepts, knowing it will radically transform him. This sets up a pivotal next phase in the One Piece storyline.

Spoilers

Kuma is confronted by a Navy ultimatum to either become a Warlord and be transformed into a cyborg weapon, or face arrest and imprisonment alongside Bonney.

This difficult scenario is forced upon Kuma by the imposing demands of Saturn.

Wanting to safeguard Bonney from also being detained or sentenced, Kuma consents to the cyborg alterations, but not before bargaining for Bonney’s protection and future safety. He manages to negotiate this concession as part of the larger agreement.

The medical process required to mechanically and emotionally reprogram Kuma is stationed at Vegapunk’s Egghead research facility.

It necessitates extended surgical timescales to fundamentally transition Kuma along with Bonney into weaponized human vessels.

All the while, Admiral Kizaru oversees the gradual implementation of these radical bodily and mental changes from his on-site Navy position.

With the lengthy mechanization procedures complete, Bonney departs Vegapunk’s island and returns to the Sorbet Kingdom whilst Kuma assumes his new post as a loyal Warlord.

In the aftermath, we glimpse the astonished reactions of veteran Warlords in response to Kuma’s dramatic transformation. His cybernetic modifications have fundamentally altered the man they once knew.

Near the chapter’s conclusion after these events transpire, Kuma pens a heartfelt letter addressed to Bonney, sincerely thanking her for their time together. This letter lends itself to the chapter’s namesake title.

In the final scenes, Kuma is dispatched on assignment to a humble coastal village – none other than Luffy’s hometown, Foosha. What awaits there may intertwine his fate with Luffy’s origins. The build-up suggests an impactful development is imminent.

Recap and Review

Chapter 1099 picks up where the prior installment left off, with the tyrannical King Bekori having just returned to seize power in Sorbet.

After learning of the appalling Gray Terminal arson attacks in Goa, Bekori conspires to replicate that unforgivable atrocity against his own people.

Bekori identifies specific villages to raze, planning to burn them mercilessly to the ground. Any dissenters brave enough to speak out are instantly executed by his army.

Witnessing these inhumane developments, Bartholomew Kuma is compelled to intervene. In an uprising later immortalized as the “One-Man Revolution of Sorbet,” Kuma storms the royal palace and defeats Bekori, rescuing the kingdom from this would-be fate.

Word of Kuma’s liberating actions swiftly reaches Saint Jaygarcia Saturn. Meanwhile, the grateful Sorbet citizens beseech their unlikely hero Kuma to take the mantle of leadership. He reluctantly accedes to their requests for stability’s sake, while insisting on retaining his humble lifestyle.

This allows the formerly exiled King Bulldog to responsibly oversee governance instead. And so order is restored by brave souls in the face of a narrow brush with untold suffering.

We learn that Bonney inadvertently consumed the Age-Age Fruit one fateful day instead of her intended snacks. While not shown, this long-held mystery regarding the source of Bonney’s transformative powers is finally verbally recounted.

After accidentally acquiring this unexpected gift, Bonney experiments by morphing into her adult appearance that readers widely recognize from the current timeline. Her dramatic change causes all around her to comedically mistake Bonney for the missing Lady Ginny.

When former King Bulldog pays a visit to the church alongside his mother, Queen Conney, Bonney seizes the chance to practice controlling her newfound abilities.

‘Studying Conney’s appearance intently while transforming, Bonney unintentionally mimics the former matriarch. This spawns chaotic confusion as the two suddenly identical women stand side by side to everyone’s bewilderment.

However, Bulldog’s uneasy return bears ominous news – the deposed King Bekori has managed to covertly escape custody.

Worse still, Bekori has now rallied World Government support to stage another coup attempt. And so peril looms as Sorbet’s peace remains threatened by Bekori’s determination for retribution.
