Swifties went into overdrive following the streaming services release of Taylor Swift’s From The Vault track You’re Losing Me.

The song was previously released digitally via her web store in May – with the track believed to allude to her break-up with Joe Alwyn after six years.

But on Wednesday You’re Losing Me was finally made available on streaming outlets such as Spotify, and fans were overjoyed to have the track available at their fingertips.

Elated Swifites took to X to express both their happiness at the release and hash out mixed feelings about Taylor’s ex Joe.

One fan comically mused: ‘Legend has it you’re losing me was written using Joe Alwyn’s tears as ink.’

Another humorously shared a photo of a video game character glued to their computer as a fire broke out in their bedroom. ‘Not now sweetie “you’re losing me” is out now on streaming platforms,’ the fan tweeted on X.

One couldn’t believe the track was now widely available as they shared a GIF of Oprah Winfrey. ‘NO WAY…. YOU’RE LOSING ME OUT EVERYWHERE???? YOU’RE KIDDING ME??’ the fan wrote.

Another devoted fan shared a photo of Taylor sitting at the Grammys beside an overjoyed Camila Cabello, who represented all Swifites. An image of the You’re Losing Me track was edited over Swift.

‘You’re losing me is finally on streaming platforms… THANK YOU MOTHER,’ the fan tweeted alongside the image.

Another shared video of Vice President Kamala Harris on the day President Biden won the election. ‘You’re losing me finally out on all streaming platforms i prayed for times like this,’ the fan wrote.

For others, the track brought up mixed feelings about Taylor’s six-year long relationship with Joe.

‘Happy for people who wanted You’re Losing Me to be available to stream but I personally can’t listen to that song or I will think about [TRAIN DRIVES BY] [TIRES SCREECHING]-ing Joe Alwyn,’ another wrote.

‘Merry Christmas Joe Alwyn. “Stop You’re Losing Me” is out on streaming,’ another posted.

The lyrics include: ‘I wouldn’t marry me either / A pathological people pleaser / Who only wanted you to see her,” Swift sings on the track. Other lyrics include, “Do I throw out everything we built or keep it? / I’m getting tired even for a phoenix / Always rising from the ashes / Mending all her gashes / You might just have dealt the final blow.’

Currently boasting over 108 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform, the Enchanted singer previously bagged the UK top spot in 2022.

This year has been another very successful year for the pop superstar, who has been estimated to have generated nearly $5bn in consumer spending alone in the US leg of her Eras Tour.

Only two UK artist joined Taylor in the top five most streamed artist in the UK, with Drake and The Weeknd both landed second and third respectively.

Spotify Wrapped 2023 sums up how 574M people around the world listened to the streaming giant this year.

The brand unveiled that Arctic Monkeys and Ed Sheeran squeezed their way into the fourth and fifth UK spot.

But it was not only in the UK that Taylor bagged the most-listened-to crown – she also came out on top internationally.

It was the first time in three years that Bad Bunny was not been the most listened to artist globally.

But the Puerto Rican rapper did land second place, having released 2023 most streamed album – Un Verano Sin Ti – raking in a whopping 4.5 billion streams since January 1.

Coming in third was the Weeknd, whose album – Starboy – was the fourth most streamed of the year globally, despite being released in 2016.

The Weeknd was followed by Drake, Peso Pluma, Feild and Travis Scott, who launched his highly-anticipated album Utopia in July.

The eight most streamed artist globally was SZA, who rocked the R&B genre with her critically acclaimed album SOS.

SOS, which included a roster of hits such as Kill Bill, Snooze and Good Days, was the third highest streamed album on Spotify internationally.

Following SZA in ninth and tenth place is Karol G and Summertime Sadness crooner Lana Del Rey.

Swift also had major success with two songs, which both landed in Spotify’s top ten most streamed songs globally.

Both her 2016 single Cruel Summer and her 2022 hit-song Anti-Hero placed sixth and tenth on the list.

Nabbing the crown for 2023’s most listened to song in world was Flowers by Miley Cyrus, with more than 1.6 billion listens since January 1.

In second and third place was SZA with Kill Bill and As It Was by Harry Styles.

As It Was previously held the crown for most streamed song on the streaming platform in 2022, reaching close to 1.5 billion plays.

This year, Swift also mirrored the same success with her albums.

Two of the country singer’s projects also proved to be global favourites with Midnights and Lover being unveiled as the second and seventh most listened to albums worldwide.
