Manchester City came from behind against RB Leipzig to win 3-2 and secure top spot in their Champions League group, but it needed contributions from the bench to turn the game around.

Doku helped Man City’s attack become more excited in the second half
Within seconds of Jeremy Doku’s arrival on the pitch, Manchester City were back in the contest against RB Leipzig. For once, it had little to do with the Belgian, with Phil Foden teeing up Erling Haaland.
.
That objective gave what had up until then been a disorganized performance some energy. City immediately began searching for Doku. After gliding past Amadou Haidara right away, he attempted to slip past the temporary right-back a minute later.
.
Subsequently, there was still another surge outside before a low ball into the area won a corner. The £55 million winger had threatened to score more goals in three minutes than Jack Grealish had in the 54 minutes prior to him.
Just after the hour mark Doku skinned Haidara again, leaving him flailing tight to the touchline as the blur of man and ball darted past him. Mohamed Sinkaman was increasingly being dragged across to help out.
.
Doku was involved in the third goal, finding Foden before he got the ball across for Julian Alvarez to complete the comeback. Every time City shifted the ball to the left, the noise level increased a little inside the Etihad. He has become a cult figure already for City fans.
In his time on the pitch, Grealish completed one of his 2 attempted take-ons and had 34 touches, with just 1 in the penalty area. In around 40 minutes of action, Doku managed 4 of seven take-ons (The most dribbles in the match), 40 touches, 4 in the penalty area and participate in 9 duels. He is more threatening as a left-winger at the moment and it’s getting harder and harder to leave him out.
