Drake Fixes Broken Heart With Boys Night Out In New “Polar Opposites” Music Video
Drake is operating at a different level when it comes to his latest album For All The Dogs. The 37-year-old rapper released a new music video for the track “Polar Opposites” this week.
The visual, released on Wednesday (Nov. 29), finds the Toronto superstar trying to fix his broken heart by spending time with the guys. They all drink, smoke, and play spades and billiards while having what is seemingly a needed good time for the hitmaker. However, it doesn’t fix everything, as there are scenes of him alone looking distraught while sitting by slot machines, singing along to the song on the dock of a boat while looking at the sky, or standing outside of his mansion trying to piece himself together.
“Had plans to understand ya/ Mariana, you broke my faith/ Why you gotta listen to the propaganda?/ Wе just broke the ice, and now you’rе both leaving/ I was being kind, I don’t understand ya/ You should let your sister be the voice of reason/ Either it’s your text that I’m misreading/ Or it’s just your actions are misleading/ Don’t know how they do things in Pristina/ I just know the tension is increasing,” he sings in the second verse.
This marks Drake’s fourth music video supporting his latest album For All The Dogs. Prior to “Polar Opposites,” he shared visuals for “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole,” “Another Late Night” featuring Lil Yachty on the day Dogs came out, and “8AM In Charlotte” one day prior to the album’s release.
The 6 God has done more groundwork for this album than any of his previous efforts, as he released the deluxe edition Scary Hours 3 almost two weeks ago (Nov. 17). The six new tracks were mostly handled solo aside from “Evil Ways” featuring J. Cole.
He followed that up the next week by sharing the instrumental versions of those six records and challenging rappers to freestyle over them. Listen to For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition below.
